The training knights tell the story of how the summer training journey began in the #First_City_Technology_Incubator and how it ended. We leave you with the heroes of the story.
The aim of the summer program was to qualify young people to enter the labor market and hone their skills in the fields of programming and technical applications in which the company has distinguished cadres with sufficient experience to transfer knowledge to these trainees. More than 35 students applied for the program, and after conducting personal interviews, 14 male and female trainees were nominated. They were divided into 5 teams in 5 projects under three specializations (computer engineering, computer science, information systems). The program included 6 tracks (Senors, Flutter, React native Angular, Nodejs, Laravel). Each team concluded the program with a project.
The ceremony was joyful with his presence and the brilliant trainees. A nice introduction was made to the ceremony, then we perfumed the hall with verses from the Holy Quran. This was followed by a speech by the company representative in which he welcomed the honorable guests and mentioned the most prominent projects implemented by the company and the company’s specialization in the field of automating Hajj and Umrah services through its three most important projects: the platform for the delegation unit at the Ministry of Hajj, the platform for delivering on behalf of Kadana Company, and the platform for the General Syndicate of Cars.
Then the microphone went to Mazen, who impressed the audience with his impromptu speech. Mazen was the most suitable nomination from his fellow trainees, who entrusted him with the task of delivering the trainees’ speech, and he lived up to their expectations. He expressed their feelings and told the story of the styling, harmony, enthusiasm, effort, challenge, determination and creativity that they experienced during the training period. Mazen concluded his speech by thanking those who deserved thanks. He thanked the company for giving them the opportunity to train, he thanked the doctors and supervisors at the university, he thanked the supervisors of the training, he thanked his colleagues for the spirit of brotherhood and competition, and he left the stage on fire for the first of the five teams to present the project that they worked on.
The first team completed a project called the (Murakib) application. The members of the Murakib project team developed a solution to the issue of paper reports and wanted to make them automated. They targeted the Hajj and Umrah sector in their project. Their idea is to monitor and follow up on the Hajj delegation operations in the delegation operations by monitoring the leaders of the groups and the reports they submit to the application. This idea will make it easier for the decision-maker to have instant access to the delegation operations from all camps and monitor the situation. The application is characterized by:
It is programmed by writing one code for two systems Android and IOS.
Application performance speed.
The backend is dynamic.
(Supervisor) Project: The members of the Supervisor application team presented a wonderful presentation that would be an integrated application idea with the Monitor application as well. The idea of the application is that it helps field supervisors in the holy sites to report obstacles or field problems to decision-makers in the monitoring centers. They also targeted the Hajj and Umrah sector. The most important feature of their application was the ability to add a signature by drawing on the screen.
The (Alamshi) project copied their idea from Uber and Careem, but they added their own model to it, so that if you are going to a destination, you can share a car with someone going to the same destination, or share your vehicle with someone else. The idea is based on an economic and social factor, so that you can reduce the cost of the trip and have a companion with you at the destination.
The (By Milli) project is an application that acts as a link between engineering offices and contractors, allowing the beneficiary, the client, to view and follow up on his project with ease, and to be aware of all updates from both parties, the contractor or the engineering office, and facilitates the process of continuous communication between all parties.
The last project at the event was the (TRACKING) project, the idea of which is to place devices and sensors on cars and buses to track and monitor their paths, speeds and locations of targeted vehicles. The most important features of the application are:
Enhances the traveler experience.
Ensures safety.
Improves operational efficiency.
Improves resource allocation.
Provides accurate reports.
It enhances infrastructure planning and facilitates communication and coordination between responsible parties.
At the end of the presentation of the trainees’ projects, Her Excellency Dr. Ahd Al-Jarf, Vice Dean of the College of Computer and Information Systems for Development and Quality, honored us with a word of thanks to the company and a great praise for the projects completed by the trainees. She urged them to continue and persist in their studies, wishing them success.
We concluded our ceremony by honoring the trainees in appreciation of their hard work and dedication. The trainees were honored by: Her Excellency Dr. Ahd Al-Jarf, Vice Dean of the College of Computer Science, and the Director of the First City Company, Mr. Ibrahim Bawyan, with individual and group photos taken in an atmosphere filled with happiness and joy for the achievement.
Finally, we leave you with a short video promo about the closing ceremony. Enjoy watching.
